അർച്ചന വിമൻസ് സെന്റർ
സ്ത്രീ ജനമുന്നേറ്റരംഗത്ത്‌ വിപ്ലവാത്മകമായ മാറ്റങ്ങൾ വരുത്താനും അസംഘടിത മേഘലയിലെ സ്ത്രീകളുടെ ഉന്നമനത്തിനു വേണ്ടിയും നിലകൊള്ളുന്ന അർച്ചന വിമൻസ് സെന്റർ കഴിഞ്ഞ രണ്ടു ദശാബ്ദത്തിലേറെയായി സ്ത്രീ ശാക്തീകരണം ലക്ഷ്യമാക്കി പ്രവർത്തിച്ചുവരുന്നു. ഒബ്ലേയ്റ്റ് മിഷണറീസ് ഓഫ് മേരി ഇമ്മക്കുലേറ്റ് സമൂഹത്തിലെ ഒബ്ലേയ്റ്റ്സിന്റെ മേൽനോട്ടത്തിലുള്ള ജ്യോതി ജീവ പൂർണ്ണ ട്രസ്റ്റിന്റെ കീഴിലാണ് അർച്ചന വിമൻസ് സെന്റർ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നത്. 1992 ൽ കേരളത്തിൽ പ്രവർത്തനമാരംഭിച്ച ജ്യോതി ജീവ പൂർണ്ണ ട്രസ്റ്റിന്റെ കീഴിൽ 2006 ലാണ് കോട്ടയം ജില്ലയിലെ തെള്ളകം കേന്ദ്രമാക്കി അർച്ചന വിമൻസ് സെന്റർ പ്രവർത്തനമാരംഭിച്ചത്. സ്ത്രീകൾക്ക് സന്തോഷപ്രദവും സമാധാനപൂർണ്ണവും വരുമാനദായകവുമായ കുടുംബാന്തരീക്ഷം സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്നതിനാണ് അർച്ചന വിമൻസ് സെന്റർ മുൻ‌തൂക്കം നൽകുന്നത്. അവിദഗ്ധ മേഘലകളിൽ പണിയെടുക്കുന്നവരും സ്ഥിരമായി തൊഴിൽ ചെയ്യാൻ താല്പര്യമുള്ളവരുമായ സ്ത്രീകൾക്ക് ഉയർന്ന വരുമാനം ലഭിക്കുന്ന രീതിയിൽ തൊഴിലധിഷ്ഠിതമായ വിദഗ്ധ പരിശീലനങ്ങൾക്ക് വഴിയൊരുക്കുന്നു.വിവിധ തൊഴില്‍ മേഖലകളിലുള്ള പരിശീലനപരിപാടികള്‍ തികച്ചും സൗജന്യവും, സ്ഥിരമായി തൊഴില്‍ സാധ്യതയുള്ളതും, ഉയര്‍ന്ന വരുമാനം ഉറപ്പാക്കുന്നവയുമാണ്. സ്ത്രീ ശാക്തീകരണവും സാങ്കേതിക പരിശീലനവും കോർത്തിണക്കിക്കൊണ്ട് സ്ത്രീകളെ സമൂഹത്തിന്റെ മുഖ്യധാരയിലേയ്ക്ക് കൈപിടിച്ചുയർത്തുകയാണ് അർച്ചനയുടെ ലക്‌ഷ്യം.
About Us
AWC believes in the actual empowerment of women physically, mentally, psychologically and spiritually through intellectual awareness and devolution of skills. While the mastery of these skills emancipate women from the clutches of societal servitude, the implementation of these skills empower them to strike at the roots of poverty and its consequent ills. The various training and placement programmes instituted by Archana has also been founded on this principle. AWC propelled by its mission “FULLNESS OF LIFE FOR ALL” is dedicated to EMPOWERING women through a conscious effort of changing their traditional roles especially in the construction scenario. Through long years of struggle and strife, we have been able to usher women to the unconventional trades of MASONRY AND CARPENTRY and earning wages at par with men. This PATH BREAKING journey is possible through the immense support and adulation we receive from all corners of the society and the benevolence of our donors. I must congratulate the women who dared to try the untrodden path! We are thrilled to witness the transformation of this powerless, wage less, nameless women to dignified and respected skilled masons and carpenters holding the testimony of their achievement. Slowly but steadily we are making a “DIFFERENCE”. There is still a long way to go and we believe "Together we can do it ! "
